Today’s pattern and video are this super fun stripey pattern called Leaping Stripes. I’ve made several blankets in this pattern because it is so much fun! Its a little slower to work up than say double crochet, because you have to work 3 rows for the height of 2, in your fabric.
Leaping Stripes
Multiples of 4 + 3
Row 1: dc into the 3rd chain, dc, *ch2, skip 2 stitches 2dc* Repeat across, finishing with a dc into the last stitch.
Row 2: ch2, *dc2 over the chains, into the foundation chains, ch2, skip 2 st* Repeat across, and finish with a regular DC at the end of the row.
Row 3: ch 2, *dc 2 over the chains and into the stitches in the row below, ch 2 skip 2* Repeat across. Dc at the end of the row.
Repeat Row 3 until you reach your desired length.
