Hey friends, today we are introducing a NEW crochet stitch pattern for an easy and beginner-friendly dishcloth pattern. We work this pattern with just 2 stitches and only 1 row that is repeated throughout.
This pattern is nice and simple with a little bit of texture. A little while ago, my sister asked me to make her a bunch of dishcloths for her to use in her kitchen. Crochet is so much quicker to work up, so I started looking around for a simple pattern that could make a beginner-friendly dishcloth and when I came across this stitch pattern, I knew it was perfect. I converted the pattern I found, into this lovely cloth.
If you remember when we did camel stitch, we stitched into the third loop, in the back of the half double crochet. The cool part about this pattern is that third loop is the strand we can see across the front. We don’t see it until several rows are worked because it is on the back of the row you’re working.
Stitch pattern: half double crochet, slip stitch.

I hope you love this dishcloth pattern as much as I do. What else can we use this stitch pattern for? A blanket? A sweater? Even a hat in this stitch would be super cute! I can’t wait to make this pattern into all kinds of different items in the future.
Many thanks for making it to the end!
